‘Perspective’ is a sonically adventurous track from Aroly Tariq. Its haunting opening moments are built around a ghostly synth and permeated by airy vocals that wander freely and with passion. The track’s modern trip-hop sound is elevated by the entrance of those laid-back, shifting beats and unique textural explorations. “The meaning behind the track is based on the point-of-view shift of, ‘don't be sad it's gone, be grateful it happened,’ and I wanted the sonic movements to represent that.” This is only the third single from the Melbourne-based artist, and we can’t wait for more. -Dan Peeke.
